The NCC Panthers have a steel drum band, along with a drum line which are both firing on all cylinders in 2015! The Drum line recently performed at halftime of the Girls’ District Final game on Friday the 6th. They did an outstanding job and were a big hit with everyone in attendance. Steel drums have an upcoming event on March 25th, in St. Louis, Michigan, which concludes with an ensemble of over 100 steel drummers. Senior Nick Schuller had this to say of the competition, “It is going to be fantastic and we are confident we can bring home some hardware!” In addition, the Pancats are preforming in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Bay City on Sunday, March 15th. The NCC drummers would appreciate your support at one of these upcoming events.
