Summer 2014 was a blast! It was full of laughs and memories that we will always remember, but like all good things, it had to come to an end. Students and staff around Nouvel shared some of their most interesting activities they did over the summer. Mrs. Jacqmain and her husband took a long road trip to Wisconsin where they had to travel through the Upper Peninsula and to Wisconsin. On their trip, they visited the Tahquamenon Falls, Cross in the Woods, and Kitch-iti-kippi springs which, she said was “very beautiful.” Seniors Phil Rangitsch and Emily Sapak went and saw Katy Perry live in concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Sophomore Charley Hengsbach went on a trip to England and visited Ireland, Wales, France, and a few other places as well. Her favorite place she visited was Ireland, said Hengsbach, “It was a gorgeous scene there and the mashed potatoes were phenomenal!” Mrs. Wigen took a 20th wedding anniversary trip with her husband where they traveled a total of 5,370 miles and drove all the way to LasVegas! Senior twins Matt and Pete Gembrowski went on a mission trip to Haiti in July where Matt was the song and dance leader and Pete led prayer. They helped out at a summer camp for young girls and also at a wounds clinic.
