We usually have an annual Power of Pink football game, along with other fundraisers\u00a0during the month. This year we plan to earn more money than last year with jeans\/sweats days, Pop sale and delivery, the Pink Prize Wheel and Game to Remember\u00a0shirts on sale along with our pink bracelets. The money we raise will be donated to the Seton Cancer Institute. Here is a little schedule of all the month of October activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Week of October 2nd-6th:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Game to Remember T-shirts sold during lunches and conferences<\/p>\n<p>10\/2: Banner outside the lunch room (markers to designate different colored ribbons\u2014Breast Cancer: Pink, Colon Cancer: Blue, etc)<\/p>\n<p>10\/5:\u00a0 Pay to wear jeans\/sweats<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Week of October 9<sup>th<\/sup>-13<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Game to Remember T-shirts sold during lunches<\/p>\n<p>Pop Can Drive begins<\/p>\n<p>Pop and Sweets Sale: Pink themed beverages sold during lunch hours Monday-Wednesday<\/p>\n<p>Thursday: Bubble Gum Contest<\/p>\n<p>Friday: Pop delivery<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Week of October 16th-20th <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pink Prize Wheel during lunches<\/p>\n<p>Bracelet sale during lunches<\/p>\n<p>Can Drive ends<\/p>\n<p>10\/19\u00a0 Pay to wear jeans<\/p>\n<p>Friday: \u201cGame to Remember\u201d, 7PM Boyd Field<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Week of October 23rd -27th<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thursday: Pink-Out Day, Donated prizes for best dressed, most creative, etc., short assembly at the end of the day to thank everyone, announce totals raised.<\/p>\n<p>Ice Cream Sundae Bar during lunches (Pink themed)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, during the month of October, the Nouvel community remembers.
