The school is taking part in a canned goods\/toiletries drive this week. The goods are going to the St. Dominic parish Food Pantry. Said Christian Leadership teacher Mrs. Jacqmain, &#8220;Supplies at the St. Dominic Food Pantry are extremely low and the need for items is very high, especially among elderly citizens.\u00a0 Advent is a great time to focus on the Corporal works of mercy, especially, &#8216;Feed the hungry&#8217;.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The goods are going to the less fortunate so if you are able to donate anything please do. The Christian Leadership students have set a goal of 450 items total for the drive, with all items due this Friday. If the NCC student body reaches this goal, there will be a bowling trip on December 21<sup>st,<\/sup> the last day before Christmas Break. All items should be turned in to\u00a0your class advisors (Seniors may turn items in directly to Mrs. Jacqmain) .
