<\/a>Alex Dwan 17\u2019<\/p>\nStaff Witter<\/em><\/p>\n Lights, Camera, Action!!!!!! It\u2019s once again Homecoming Week at Nouvel Catholic Central. This year\u2019s theme for this special event is Classical Movies. The Freshman have selected the movie Charley and the Chocolate Factory<\/em>, Sophomores picked Grease<\/em>, Juniors will represent The Wizard of Oz<\/em>, and last but not least, the Seniors will be fighting Jedi with Star Wars.<\/em> The week\u2019s events are as follows:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sunday \u2013 Cook out\u00a0at 5:00PM and the Powderpuff Game at 6:30PM.<\/p>\n Monday \u2013 Half-Day schedule with teacher in-service and hallway decorating in the afternoon, Spirit day dress code. All students are encourage to participate in decorating for their class.<\/p>\n Tuesday \u2013 Students are welcome to dress up as their favorite character from their class\u00a0movie or wear a t-shirt from their movie with\u00a0jeans.<\/p>\n Wednesday \u2013 Dress-up Mass day.<\/p>\n Thursday \u2013 Class color day, with Field day activities in the afternoon. Wear your class shirt or class color, and also please remember to bring your item for the class picnic. Freshman color is purple, sophomore\u2019s color is grey, junior\u2019s color is light blue, and senior\u2019s color is black. Thursday might, there will also be a Bonfire at 7:00 with a movie under the stars after.<\/p>\n Friday \u2013 All out Nouvel Spirit Day! \u00a0Students will go to their first hour and from there \u00a0be dismissed for\u00a0pancake breakfast. Also, there will be yearbook distribution at that time. Immediately following\u00a0will be the Homecoming Court Assembly where we will crown this year’s Homecoming King. Students will be dismissed after the assembly. Later that night, the first ever Nouvel Homecoming Festival will begin at 4:30PM and end at 6:00PM. The Alumni Football gamebegins at 5:30PM followed by the Varsity Game at 7:15PM.
