Staff Writer<\/em><\/p>\n Cold, windy, and rainy weather is not the ideal weather for a track meet, but Nouvel managed to push on and keep going during this glum day in May. The\u00a0invitational was hosted by\u00a0Fulton High School, which included thirteen other high schools from around Michigan.\u00a0Nouvel took first place in the men\u2019s 4\u00d7100 relay and the\u00a0men\u2019s 4\u00d7200 relay. Nouvel also took second place in the women\u2019s 4\u00d7200 relay. Brianna Greene, \u201919, took\u00a0second in the women’s 100 meter race first place in the200\u00a0meter race. Madison Sheridan, \u201917, took third place in the women\u2019s 200 meter race and second place in the women’s 400 meter race. Sergio Molinar, \u201919, placed\u00a0third in the men\u2019s 400 meter race with a time of 54.47 seconds. Matt Bartels, ’17, took first place in both the 1600 and 3200 meter races. Senior Payton Hirschenberger took second place in men’s long jump with a distance of 18 feet even. Garrett Marino, ’17, took third place in men’s long jump. Senior Lauren Nowosatka took\u00a0second place in the women\u2019s pole vault. Robi Stuart, \u201917, took first place in the men\u2019s shot put category with a throw of 52\u203204.25″, a new personal record. Senior Jacob Gray\u00a0took second place in men’s shot put and first place in men’s discus with a throw of 131’11”.\u00a0The Nouvel track and field team is now preparing for Regionals that is this coming Saturday, May 21st, at Breckenridge High School.
