Staff Writer<\/em><\/p>\n Although the 2015 varsity soccer team has not had the season they had wished for they have grown as a team and continued to get better as the season went on. This season was more of a teaching and learning season. The team does not have any seniors this year and will most likely be returning all of their players for next year, they will have their three junior captains Jonah wolinski, Palo Diola, and Garret Marino returning to lead the team. They will be more experienced and a more fundamentally sound team for the upcoming seasons. Though this season was a difficult one the team manage to pull out their first victory of the year on October 6th versus the Indians of Chesaning. However, the Panthers did not have much success moving forward, and they wrapped up their season October 19th at districts at home versus the Chargers of Valley Lutheran.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Megan St. Pierre<\/p>\n Staff Writer<\/em><\/p>\n This year, the boys tennis started the season with high hopes for developing their skills and qualifying for states. For seven out of the ten tennis players this season, it was their first year of playing tennis ever. Due to their hard work and ambition, \u201cThere was a lot of improvement throughout the entire season,\u201d according to senior player, Patrick Shabluk. Although the team did not qualify for states as a whole, Jackson Stuart, senior, passed through regionals and made it to states. \u201cI was happy to get to states. It was a great experience,\u201d Jackson later comments. Stuart eventually lost to a player from Lansing Catholic, but had a great overall tennis season this year with a record of 24-5.
