Lone senior, Mary McCarthy was glad to get a win on her senior day and felt proud of the team’s season as whole. It was a young group, eager to improve for the years to come. Unfortunately, the team fell short of the necessary 18 points to qualify for States, but McCarthy added that “many of the matches were closer than the final score showed, this was the most team atmosphere I have been a part of in my time.” Congrats to the Ladies on a great season!

Soccer

Ryan Hammis ’15
Staff Writer
So far, so good as the Nouvel Panthers are a solid 8-3-1 in their regular season. The team is gaining chemistry and are really starting to work in coordination with one another. They finished second in the Nouvel Soccer Invite, as they tied two games and won one, losing to an Ann Arbor team who tied one game and won two games. There are only a handful of games remaining in the 2015 season, and the Panthers are looking to finish it off strong. Good Luck to the Panthers as they strive to finish what they started in the beginning of the spring!
