With the basketball team bringing home a District Championship last year, this season\u00a0the gentlemen\u00a0are setting their goals even higher. With new additions including senior Steven Topham and sophmore Garrett Graham the team will be able to replace one of their main players from last year Tony Purifoy.\u00a0 Coach Roberts will be leading the panthers from the bench, with new additions to the staff including Coach H, who used to coach at Arthur Hill.\u00a0While senior David Buko will be sitting out this season to focus on Golf,\u00a0returning seniors\u00a0Joe Buchalski\u00a0,Ty Jacobs, Zach Collins, Nick Hammis, Trevor Bohnoff and Josh Buchalski will be back to help lead the team to victory. \u201c This group of seniors have been playing with each other the past two years, so we know our strong points, and how to help strenghthen our weaknesses,\u201d stated Senior Ty Jacobs. Jacobs also had a huge year last year while leading the team as the top scorer. Jacobs was even recognized as having the most 3 pointers in the state. \u201cI like to make big plays from beyond the arc, but I’m planning on taking my game to a new level and being able to take the ball to the hole more,\u201d added Jacobs.
