The Saginaw County Crop Walk is a great way to both get involved with your community and to get involved with hunger awareness. On Sunday, October 14th<\/sup>, you will have an opportunity to walk to help those in need of food. The Crop Walk will begin at 1:30PM at the Saginaw YMCA, in which you will be able to walk the 3-mile loop either once or twice. In addition, there is a rest stop at Holy Family and an opportunity to stop for a prayer and\/or picture at the Father Nouvel rock. If you\u2019re interested in joining the crop walk, make sure that you find sponsors, such as your family members, friends, neighbors, etc.<\/p>\n

25% of the money you raise will stay local, and provide for agencies such as: the East Side Soup Kitchen, Hidden Harvest, the City Rescue Mission of Saginaw, and the Samaritas Community Center. The other 75% will be used to help with other food programs and disaster relief programs both nationally and globally.<\/p>\n
